CATCH: Blue marlin
Bimini Big Game Club offshore charter captain Skipper Gentry, captain of the 38ft. Hatteras Carolina Gentleman, landed a 200lb. blue marlin yesterday while fishing in approx. 660 ft. of water about a mile southwest of the inlet. A nice day’s catch by any standards. However, this story has a little twist – Capt. Skipper was fishing alone on the Carolina Gentleman!
Although he grew up in North Carolina, Skipper knows these waters well – he has been coming to the BBGC since the late 1970s when he was just a toddler!
